How to stop Dog Barking...everytime I have guests over?

My dog is so used to it being me & him that whenever anyone comes over for a visit he does nothing but bark and doesn't stop until they leave. I know he is spoiled because it is only us. I am embarrassed by his behavior. He is old and I don't know if you can fix an old dogs behavior. I appreciate any advise you have to offer.
