Does the Doctors look at the ovaries during a D&C?
I am a 47 year old breast cancer survivor, with a bilateral mastectomy and chemotherapy, and was on tamoxifen for 2 years, and had alot of complications with it so they decided to put me on arimedix, which is scaring also. I had 2 polyps on my uterus, which were benign, and also had an ablation done, and now am bleeding again. The doctor did want to do a hysterectomy, and I did also, but I had just started my job, and they said I would have to resign, and then when I am healed, they would consider hiring me back. I now said I can not afford that because of all the medical bills that have been acquired, as I now have to have a shot each month that costs $1800, (thank God for insurance), but still have to pay $200-$300 per month. I am now having another D&C (the 3rd one), and am having some discomfort in my right ovary. Do the Doctors look at the ovaries during a D&C? Any help would be appreciated!!
