How can I convince my parents to get me a dog?

If the pups are at the stable, take your mom then your dad to meet them. One thing you absolutely have to know though is that the family dog was taken care of primarily by your parents, there's probably so much you don't realize of the work that is involved raising a puppy and all the expense just getting the puppy ready to go out into the world and be safe, who's going to pay for all of that?
